Biography  I am currently pursuing a PhD at the University of New Brunswick under the supervision of Dr. Wayne Albert, Dr. Barbara Paterson and Dr. Usha Kuruganti. My area of research focuses on the use of exercise to reduce the severity of Hepatitis C-related fatigue.
Originally I started my research career as a sport scientist. I obtained a BSc in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University, and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Expanding on this background, I attended the University of New Brunswick for my MSc in Exercise Physiology and researched strength maintenance following reduced frequency resistance training. Following my MSc, I decided to use my background and knowledge to help those whose lives were impacted by chronic illness.
